New versions are installed alongside your current version and can coexist.

The versions automatically use your license credentials.

These patches address specific issues discovered after release and can be applied without waiting for a full update.

[2026-01-28]  Split3r 1.2.0 RC
WINDOWS 10-11
Maintaining two separate versions (a stable release and a beta version) requires significant effort and complicates maintenance.
To make things clearer and more reliable for everyone, we fixed all issues from the previous stable release, corrected several problems found in the beta, and combined everything into a single Release Candidate version.

Installation:
Close Split3r, run setup, a new icon is added on your desktop : Split3r 1.2.0 RC

This version installs alongside your current Split3r version and uses your existing login credentials.
Your current installation and projects are not modified.

LINUX
Download the beta version here : https://www.split3r.com/download/linux/split3r_1.2.0_linux64.zip
The Linux version is provided as a portable application and does not require installation.
Simply extract the archive to a directory and run the executable.

At this stage, it has been tested only on Fedora and Ubuntu.

The Linux version includes all features available in Split3r 1.2.0 for Windows, with one exception:
one Repair function (R1) relies on Windows-specific components and is therefore not available on Linux.

[2025-12-30]  Patches 1.0.2a / 1.1.0a
These patches fix an issue [2025-12-29-006] where the AutoShell command only worked in certain cases in versions 1.0.2 and 1.1.0 Beta.

Installation:
Close Split3r, run the patch installer (.exe), then restart the software.
After installation, the version number should be 1.0.2a or 1.1.0a Beta.

Note:
1 - These patches work only with standard installations located in:
C:\Program Files\Split3r-1.0.2 and C:\Program Files\Split3r_1.1.0-beta
If Split3r was installed in a custom directory, please contact support.
2 - Future versions will be able to automatically check whether they are up to date.
