Please read this carefully before downloading.
This is the very first macOS release of Split3r. It has been tested on Macs ranging from M1 Pro to M4.
The app is signed with our official Apple Developer ID (Team ID: 7678SMCXDA), so you can verify its authenticity.
However, this build is not notarized yet. macOS will therefore block it by default, and you will need to use the Terminal to adjust security settings and allow the app to launch.
If you don't know what the Terminal is, or what a "notarized" app means, we recommend that you do NOT purchase Split3r right now. A fully notarized version is coming soon, when it is available, you will simply double-click to install, with no Terminal commands required. We will announce it on this page as soon as it ships.
If you are comfortable with the Terminal and want to use Split3r today, you must follow the installation guide step by step.
Skipping any step will prevent Split3r from starting or cause it to crash.

To run it:
Note: some Linux distributions require FUSE to run AppImages. If the file refuses to launch, install the libfuse2 package (on Debian/Ubuntu: sudo apt install libfuse2).
Cohabitation with Split3r 1.3.1
Split3r 1.4.0 is designed to run side by side with your existing 1.3.1a release, so you can test the new features without disrupting your stable workflow:
Windows: the 1.4.0 beta installs alongside 1.3.1. Both versions have separate shortcuts and settings, and can be launched independently.
Linux (x64): AppImages use different filenames for each version, so you can simply keep both files in the same folder and run whichever one you need. No installation, no conflict.
macOS (Apple Silicon): 1.4.0 is the very first macOS release of Split3r, so there is no previous version to coexist with.
Keep using 1.3.1 for production work, and switch to 1.4.0 whenever you want to try the new features.
DEMO PROJECT: LAMBO
A sample Split3r project is available to help you get familiar with the app. It contains the Lambo model ready to be explored, split, and experimented with.
