This page provides new versions of the software or corrective patches for released versions of the software.

New versions are installed alongside your current version and can coexist.
The new versions (Windows or Linux) automatically use your license credentials.
These patches address specific issues discovered after release and can be applied without waiting for a full update.
Never apply a patch with a lower patch number than your current installed version.

Please check this page regularly to ensure you are using the most up-to-date fixes and resources.

[2026-02-07] Patch Split3r 1.2.0 RC2
WINDOWS 10-11
We discover problems on some STL file that crashes the Analyse command.
We have added a "Pre-analyse" feature that detects the number of bodies in a file before running the full analysis.

This helps filter out severely corrupted or problematic files and avoids unnecessary crashes or long processing times.

LINUX

The Linux version is provided as a portable application and does not require installation.
Simply extract the archive to a directory and run the executable.

At this stage, it has been tested only on Fedora and Ubuntu.

The Linux version includes all features available in Split3r 1.2.0 for Windows, with one exception:
one Repair function (R1) relies on Windows-specific components and is therefore not available on Linux.

[2026-01-28] Split3r 1.2.0 RC
WINDOWS 10-11
Maintaining two separate versions (a stable release and a beta version) requires significant effort and complicates maintenance.
To make things clearer and more reliable for everyone, we fixed all issues from the previous stable release, corrected several problems found in the beta, and combined everything into a single Release Candidate version.
