GENERAL

 

• Import 3mf: Still some color problems possible, please send a bug report, we will fix it.
• 3mf Import: When importing Bambu Studio's 3MF multi-plate file, the colors are not preserved, and all plates are imported together. This will be fixed in version 1.5.0 b4. Workaround: export the plates one by one.

 

 

PREPARE MODE

 

• Repair: There are still issues with repairing parts that have foldovers and self-intersections.
• Smart Selection + Extract: Sometimes, the extracted parts have geometric issues due to the complexity of their shapes, they must therefore be corrected in Slicer or Split3r before they can be used. We're working on it...
• Smart Selection: If you try to Extract several parts using the Interlocking method, the calculation of the resulting protrusion may be reversed: in this case, extract the parts one by one.
• Smart Selection: If you select all the part, then Extract, Split3r may crash. Please never select the full part, we will detect it and add a warning.

SPLIT PARTS

• Part numbering: Part numbering/engraving does not work anymore with the Split3r kernel, we actively work on it to find an acceptable solutions for customers.

 

 

EXPLODE MODE

 

TRANSLATIONS

• The translations are not up to date for the new commands in version 1.4.0 b0

 

The translation system is fully implemented in Split3r’s beta.

We use PO files with Poedit (same workflow as PrusaSlicer)

Initial translations are powered by deepl.com.

 

Bugs affecting the display of HUD characters persist in certain languages (Hebrew, Chinese, Thai...).

 

All languages still require human review.

So far, only English (en_US/en_GB) and French (fr_FR) have been manually verified. German language coming soon !
