[2026-07-02] macOS 26.5.1 26.5.2 only
Affected: macOS 26.5.1 and 26.5.2, maybe other (Apple Silicon). Not affected: macOS 15, macOS 26.6.1.
Symptom: Split3r quits unexpectedly, most often while moving the mouse near the window edges or the toolbars.
Cause: the crash occurs inside Apple's CoreGraphics framework while macOS builds a mouse cursor. Split3r only requests a standard system cursor, so this is an operating system defect, not an application one. The same Split3r build runs fine on macOS 15 and on macOS 26.6.1.
Fix: update macOS to 26.6.1 (Apple menu > System Settings > General >Software Update).
We tested the affected build on a dedicated macOS 26.6.1 machine and could not reproduce the crash. If you still get problems please fill a bug report
Workaround if you cannot update: keep the Split3r window maximized.
The translation system is fully implemented in Split3r’s beta.
We use PO files with Poedit (same workflow as PrusaSlicer)
Initial translations are powered by deepl.com.
Bugs affecting the display of HUD characters persist in certain languages (Hebrew, Chinese, Thai...).
All languages still require human review.
So far, only English (en_US/en_GB) and French (fr_FR) have been manually verified. German language coming soon !
