KNOWN BUGS

Split3r 1.2.0

This list is continuously updated as new reports come in.

News bugs will be tagged with the date and an incremental ID, e.g. [2025-12-28-001]

GENERAL

  • Size of the HUD icons too small and not adjusted on hi screen resolution with a scale of 200% [need to redesing a part of the software]

  • [2026-01-29-011] An issue has been identified shortly after the release. Depending on Windows display scaling  (Settings >System > Display > Scale), some Prepare mode icons (Analyze, Repair, etc.) may require a double-click instead of a single click.
Additionally, some Windows dark themes may hide the Scale text label.
    Workarounds:
    - Set Windows display scaling to 100 %
    - Use double-click on Prepare mode icons
A fix is in progress and will be released as soon as possible.

  • [2026-02-09-012] Several users have reported an annoying issue affecting the contextual text displayed next to the icons in the top-left corner of the window.
When the Windows display scaling is set above 100% (e.g. 125%, 150%, etc.), the contextual text may not display correctly.
Unfortunately, this configuration was not covered during our initial testing. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
We are currently working on a fix. The issue is more complex than initially expected, but it is actively being addressed.
Similar bug than [2026-01-29-011] Same workaround : Set Windows display scaling to 100 %

PREPARE MODE

  • Repair may fail to fix models correctly.  Several improvements and added new algorithms...

An original backup of your input file is preserved under the Prepare mode tree.

SPLIT PARTS

  • Part numbering inside AutoShell flows. We’re still working on a robust algorithm that handles all model types reliably, and we can’t give a firm date until it’s solved.

Workaround In the meantime, manual marking (pen, label, etc.) right after printing is the practical .

TRANSLATIONS

The translation system is fully implemented in Split3r’s beta.

We use PO files with Poedit (same workflow as PrusaSlicer)

Initial translations are powered by deepl.com.

Bugs affecting the display of HUD characters persist in certain languages (Hebrew, Chinese, Thai...).

All languages still require human review.

So far, only English (en_US/en_GB) and French (fr_FR) have been manually verified. German language coming soon !
