Known issues & workarounds
Check these documented limitations, then compare your build with the current release notes.
Current context
Check the b8 release notes for fixes to painted colors, repair, offset caps, lap joints and other operations before submitting a report.
macOS issues
Slow Explode display on very large projects
macOS display slowdowns were reported for models above 10,000 mm and/or projects with over 1,000 split parts. The report concerns large-project display performance.
If it reproduces in b8, include the Workzone, model dimensions, part count and Mac configuration in your bug report.
Crashes on macOS 26.5.1 / 26.5.2
Split3r documented crashes near window edges and toolbars on these macOS releases. The report identifies an Apple CoreGraphics cursor issue and says it was not reproduced on macOS 26.6.1.
The documented workaround is to keep the window maximized; the documented fix is updating the affected operating system.
Translations
Some newer commands still need translation updates. HUD characters can display incorrectly in languages including Hebrew, Chinese and Thai.
English and French have been manually reviewed. To help with another language, email support@split3r.com with “Translation” and the language in the subject.
